After more than a few hours sleep yesterday afternoon and night, I felt better but rather than push it too much I decided to get the train to Henley today... Hence the mileage is so low.... So I cycled from streatham over to vauxhall bridge, overlooking battersea power station, and then past victoria station to Hyde park, over Hyde park and on to paddington station.
The view from Vauxhall Bridge down to Battersea Power Station...
The Serpentine in Hyde Park...
Luckily, moving around by train with the bike is easy now... And after about 15 mins on the train I noticed the sign saying that you weren't meant to take bicycles on any first great western trains leaving London between 06.30 and 18.30...! Well nobody had said anything, so it was too late by then...!
I got to Henley at about 1.30 so had plenty of time to walk around the farmers Market and up and down the Thames... Quite a relaxing day really....!... And looking forward to being back on the bike tomorrow for a full days riding....
Sitting on the grass in Henley isn't soooo bad...!
and whilst walking along the thames a little bit, I came across the african queen... a river boat that featured on the hotel inspectors on TV...
