The below is a list of the preparations we made... some are videos we watched, some are sites we visited, some are lists we made.... they might not be in "order" of how we did them, but I've tried to help them make sense...
I've added at the bottom of the page our list of things that we needed to buy in preparation for Rosalinde.
First preparations
Join the baby center website/app
you put in your due date and they give you weekly updates, newsletters, and useful articles to read... this was the best and most useful thing for us...!
Antenatal Classes
We didn't get offered antenatal classes (due to Covid restrictions) so we ended up looking around for other options and found these on youtube... and these were really great...!

Prenatal exercises
Rose spent a lot of time on the yoga ball... it helps to open up the pelvis and strengthen her core muscles for giving birth..... you can choose from the many videos in this playlist... Rose found many of them very useful.

Prenatal & Postnatal drinks & supplements
This tea is drank in the months before giving birth to help prepare the mothers body for giving birth naturally

We also used the below lactation supplements just in case, and Rose felt that the tablet supplements in particular seemed to work well.

Babies like looking at faces... even their own faces... and it doesn't get better value (and it's kid-safe!) than this ikea kids mirror.... DRÖMMARE Mirror

Colic & Reflux
just in case it's useful later, we tried gripe water to fix Rosalinde's colic, and it was kind of successful.. it helped... but didn't really fix it. After a few days we tried these probiotic drops to give her the LReuteri bacteria in her digestive system that many colic babies are missing.. and it really did get rid of the colic. hopefully your baby won't get colic, but at least you know what it was just in case.
