Introduction: to "The Office" and back home again...

I've just been made redundant, and whilst planning to visit friends in Swindon next weekend anyway, I figured if the weather was anything less than rain-rain-rain for the next week, I'd cycle over to see them.

It's 132 miles direct... and only a little more with the planned stopovers at my cousins place in Streatham and a B&B in Henley on Thames... at about 45 miles per day, it's more than I was doing on holiday in Belgium and France, but should still be easy enough.

I've got to pack on Tuesday, ready to leave on Wednesday morning.
